Lindberg was promoted from the 6th grade to high school It is dated June 1, 1906, and signed by principal May Golden and assistants Catherine Whistler and Mrs. D.S.Baker. W. H. Gardner signed as Superintendent. The certificate is printedin a maroon/red ink, and is on a hard stock like cardboard. The edges are rounded and show a little wear, and the paper has yellowed. She took English, History,Physics, Chemistry and Free Hand Drawing, Dressmaking and Declamation. Other classes offered included Military Drill and Housewifery. **PENNY BONUS BIN item, one per each $10 in purchases!** This neat old itemdoesn't have a date on it, but I'd guess the early Sixties, as they quote1959 data from Metropolitan Life inside. The full title is Family PhysicalFitness Tests and Plan. It was prepared and at least partially underwrittenby H. P. Hood and Sons, and Harvey Hood has a short intro letter inside the front cover. It measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2", but the 24 pages are packed with tests, exercises, charts, and dietary advice. My favorite part is the back cover which asks, IS UNCLE SAM STILL A TALL RAWBONED MAN?, trying to prodAmericans to get up off the couch and work out a little!

This is a rather unusual find from the estate of a military book collector.It is an oversize book, all in German, with numerous photos glued in. Thetopic is supposed to be Hitler's daily life. 132 pages in all, printed in 1936 by a cigarette manufacturer. The foreword is by Jospeh Goebbels. Out of200 tipped-in pictures, 3 have gone missing (maybe the glue gave out?) Thebook has been well kept and is in generally good shape. There is some moderate cover bubbling (again I would say a glue failure) on the back, and itis slightly loose on the spine.

**PENNY BONUS BIN item, one per each $10 in purchases!** Solitaire is morefun with these guys for company! This is a pack of Chippendale cards. On one side is a lovely picture of a handsome man and on the other side--more pictures of handsome men! Wearing not much. Tastefully. No full nudity, but acres of tanned smooth skin and nice muscles. Well, except for the joker. He's dressed as a nerd. The other joker type card is a complementary pass toChippendales in LA or NY. Now the problem with this deck is that it is missing some cards. Missing are the 5 of diamonds, and the K of clubs. We havea theory that the previous owner kept those two cards for some reason. Heh.Now as there are two joker cards, this is still good enough if you want toplay a game which doesn't need jokers--just assign the number of the two missing cards to each of the jokers. However, it might also be that you don't want these as playing cards at all. It might be that you just want 50 small photos of great looking men. The photography is fine, the guys are alsofine, and the cards have a nice shiny gloss and show only a little wear. (And no drool marks!) This is a metal sign with two slots onthe bottom. The sign is in good shape, with a slight scratch near the A ofLA and wear near the eye of the ram. The sign is 10 inches long and 3 inches high. The pages are slightly rippled, the cover isa tad soiled and some of the inside pages are folded down or paper-clipped.Lots of places that offer miniature items have pages in here, including automobile companies, Breyer horses and tool companies. Anything you need fora doll house was featured, from curtains, to small newspaper reproductions! The business name is stamped on the front, Dwyer's.
