The Village Rhymester seems to have had his own radio program, back in theday, and listeners clammored for a printed copy of the upbeat poems he wrote and read on the air. These are quite decent offerings and pleasant reading today. Of special interest is the one illustrated poem, a tribute to Charles Lindbergh. The pages of this small volume are slightly yellowed, andthe edges are worn, with an inch long tear on the back cover. A small strip on the top of the back cover shows mouse nibbles. A former owner's nameis pencilled in. Overall clean and sound and charming.
